With a maximum of eight students in the classroom, each person moves at his or her own pace and based on his or her own interests. This specific class is meant for students ages 18 years old and beyond. The adult class currently meets on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

All Ages General Art Class
At each individual's pace, students progress through traditional media of drawing to painting and other areas of interest like sculpting and screen-printing. With a maximum of nine students in the classroom, each person moves at his or her own pace and based on his or her own interests. This specific class is meant for students of all ages.

All Ages Calligraphy Class
A specific class to learn the historically valued art of calligraphic writing, this is a dedicated hour to better the student's handwriting. All ages are invited to learn this time-honored traditional art form.

Jo Claire Dodson is a student of the late Don Marr, beloved Hendrix College professor, who studied with Raymond F. Daboll. Daboll, in his time, held the position of the Dean of American Calligraphy. The art of calligraphy, like ballet, is passed down from teacher-to-student, generation-to-generation. Instruction for calligraphy is provided upon request.  Contact Ms. Dodson for availability (501) 269-1208.
